Once you load our software, it starts counting down the 45-day trial period. You are able to look at and do everything. When you decide to subscribe, we then provide you with your annual password for your computer.
How much does this software cost?
The Automotive Expert® first year subscription is $495.00 with an annual subscription of $195.00 per year (the 1st year is included with the initial $495.00). The annual subscription price covers the labor time updates, toll free support, and new features we add to the program. This gives you a license to use the software on one computer.. (7% Sales Tax to be added to the price for FL residents).
Automotive Expert® is distributed as a 45 day free trial. The free trial software is the complete program with no limitations or restrictions. Since we allow and expect that shops ordering our software have had use of the full program for 45 days before they place an order, we do not offer a money back refund.
What are the minimum requirements to run the Automotive Expert®?
Operating System: Windows® 98 or higher.
Processor Speed: 450MHZ (The faster the better).
RAM: 64MB RAM (the more the better).
Hard Drive Space: The program requires a minimum of 150MB free, however, as you use the program this number will grow.

Does the Automotive Expert® connect with any other software?
At this time the program does not connect with any other software programs.
What kind of labor time coverage do I get?
Current systems cover from 1968-2008. This system comes with the Real-Time Labor Guide® installed. It covers foreign and domestic cars, light, medium and heavy duty trucks.
What makes this labor guide better than others?
The system gives you three labor times for each job. We've been studying, researching and analyzing labor times since 1989. Our research shows that each job has a number of factors involved in it, technician skill, tool availability, age and condition of the vehicle, just to name a few. Our system reflects a high, average, and a low time, and it lets you decide what time is right for the job.
Do I need the CD in the CD ROM drive to run the program?
No, after the CD is installed you will not need the CD in the drive any longer. It will be installed on your hard drive.

I lost my CD. How can I get a replacement ?
If you misplace your Automotive Expert® CD and you are current with your subscription a new CD will be sent to you at no charge. Call (800) 865-0111 to obtain your replacement CD.
What happens if I do not renew my subscription?
Your program will stop running and you will be unable to use it. Call
