Automatic Parts Pricing
Based on cost, Automotive Expert® can now calculate what
the retail price for your parts should be. You will be allowed to set your parts
markup to one rate which allows yours parts to have the same profit percentage.
Also, you will be able to set your pricing on a tiered system, the seven ranges
allows for more flexibility in your pricing.
Automatic Parts Pricing
With automatic parts markup turned on, the cost and vendor screen will automatically open during the course of the ticket writing process. This will allow you to add your cost, the Automotive Expert® will then calculate the retail price based on your settings. The program will also allow you to override the price it sets for your own, with the Easy Part feature it will then remember the information you supplied (as long as you use part #'s). You will be able to set it up for "Don't markup this part." which allows you put your cost in and the program will not mark it up.
Parts Profit Reports
Automotive Expert® will now generate Parts Profit Reports. This is located under "Manager" - "Sales Reports".
